About Nadia
Originally from Moldova, I spent 16 years living in the UK, 1 year in France, and 8 years in the Netherlands before eventually making the UAE my home. I've now been living in the UAE for two years, and today I call Abu Dhabi home, where I live with my husband and our 3-year-old son. Having moved countries several times, I know that relocating is about so much more than finding a home. It's about adjusting to a new culture, making friends, figuring out everyday life and eventually feeling like you belong. Over the past two years, I've really enjoyed getting to know Abu Dhabi, exploring different neighbourhoods, discovering places and learning how things work here. I'd love to share what I've learned, offer honest advice and help others considering the move get a better picture of what life in Abu Dhabi is really like.
- Experience
- 2 years living in the UAE, with experience of both Ruwais and Abu Dhabi city.
- Professional background
- 10 years in recruitment and 6 years in project management. Since moving to the UAE, I've become self-employed, working in social media and e-commerce.
